Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters
is a distinctly different band. Their hard-working classic rock 'n roll and "blue-collar-Jesus-rock" musical styles keep them unique in the music field. They perform in public and private schools, at community supporting events and fund-raisers for positive life choice organizations, for military functions/organizations, as well as private functions and churches. They are dedicated to performing positive, family-friendly music that everyone can enjoy.
The band developed in 2006 and has quickly become a crowd favorite. They have played for groups of 25 and groups of 9,000. Their debut CD release has been played on local radio station "The River" (89.7 FM) on the shows "Planet O" and "Music with a Purpose." It has also received airtime on seven different French radio stations including BEAUB FM 89 in Limoges, France. They have played at motorcycling events, churches, community events and private parties. Click here to view a schedule of events where they have performed.

The Band
![]() | Big Bo (Brian Owens - center)
has been playing music on stage since he was a kid. He is a skilled
guitar player with a heart for ministry. Bo plays a sunburst Gibson ES-335TD and "Goldie," a classic gold-flake Les Paul style Ventura. When he’s not working with
his business, Owens Quality Cleaning, he enjoys spending time with his
family and friends, sipping on a good cup of coffee, watching movies, checking out great local music, and sinking his teeth into a perfectly grilled
steak. Big D (Dwayne Riche - left) is a seasoned drummer and avid athlete. He’s a deputy for the Iowa Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Department and a competitive cyclist. He plays a yellow Sonar 5-piece drum kit and other auxiliary percussion. D enjoys working with his church, riding his motorcycle, hanging out with his family, bicycling off cliffs, working out, and finding the hottest (yet tasty…) sauce on the planet. Big Dog (Jeff Kraft - right) has been playing in bands since he was a teenager. He’s an accomplished bass player, passionate biker, and minister of Dodge Memorial Christian Church, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Jeff enjoys 5-string basses, plays a stealth black Music Man Bongo HH and a (USA made) black Peavy Forum 5. When he’s not creating something delicious, building something in the garage, smoking meat, or spending time with his family, Jeff enjoys pursuing his quest for the most perfectly barbecued meat. |
